Beccles Duck Race 2019
On the third weekend of July 2019, people descended on the quay common at Beccles to watch a race which was to be held on the river Waveney.
Participants were of the yellow plastic type, though were far from looking average, with local businesses decorating these giant sized rubber duckies.
This year was a special one as it was the 15th years since originally being set-up in 2005 by Eric Crisp. Though who sadly passed away in 2009. Afterwards the corporate duck race was introduced and also renamed to the Eric Crisp memorial race.
Other activities were available for punters to entertain themselves with, along with other fundraising activities with proceeds going back into the local community.
